Hey there.

Thanks for visiting!  Enjoy!

This is it!

This is it!

This is it!

Oh golly. Today’s the day I marked on my calendar. Today we start our first year of homeschool!
I’m up early. I’ve worked out. I’ve made French toast and cut it up into age appropriate irregular shapes for each kiddo, poured milk into their favorite cups.
I’ve done my bible reading, started my coffee and eaten (my whole 30 breakfast because, what’s more insane than adding a strict diet to your complete lifestyle overhaul?).
My curriculum is in, I’ve written out my week’s schedule which I’m sure will change a billion times because I don’t know what I’m doing… I’ve inhaled the sweet scent of school supplies and newly sharpened pencils, because WHAT is more lovely than the smell of new books, paper, binders and crayons?? It’s akin to the mountains in the morning I tell you!
And, wouldn’t you know it? My early risers, usually stirring (loudly) around 6:30 have moved to my bed and are still asleep.
Stinkers.

I’m praying for my little family, my little piece of humanity. I’m also praying for each parent, teacher, administrator, counselor, staff and student starting school. Praying for an exciting and fresh, beautiful new start to a new year. For safety, for peace and for joy in learning. This is how we shape the future!
